The route to drive to Manitoulin Island from Toronto is via 400 N. to Hwy 69 N., west at Sudbury on Hwy 17 then south on Hwy 6 at Espanola to Little Current, Manitoulin Island.

The same route to arrive at Manitoulin Island from Toronto via the Chi-Cheemaun ferry is north on Hwy 6 past Owen Sound up the Brunce Pennisula to Tobermory.
