Lakeshore Excursions was incorporated in 2000 to meet the demand from the growing interest in Great Lakes cruising by small boutique cruise ships. A growing number of itinerary planners began to include the Port of Little Current, on Manitoulin Island Ontario, in their cruise schedules. It became apparent that there was a demand in the marketplace for a professional receptive, able to handle the on-shore excursion side of this new inbound tourist. As the cruise industry slowly grew and matured on the Great Lakes, so too did the number of passengers Lakeshore Excursions welcomed to Manitoulin Island.

Today, Lakeshore Excursions has broadened its receptive services to cover most of Ontario, as well as pre and post cruise transfers and city tours in Toronto, Ontario. Lakeshore Excursions has also engaged in extensive custom product development to deliver high-end excursions across the Ste. Lawrence Seaway, from the Saguenay River to Ottawa. We work with some of the best local receptives in the business; planners and guides that bring local knowledge and expertise to the excursion experience for the guest. Our underlying philosophy is to provide a professional, consistent and unique vacation experience for the guest, delivered on time and on budget.
