Welcome!

elcome to the Port of Little Current, located on the northeastern tip of Manitoulin Island, Ontario Canada. Little Current has a long history as a port for both commercial and recreational boating traffic. In the last several years the cruise industry has re-discovered our port and made us one of the premier destinations on the Great Lakes. This booklet is designed to assist itinerary planners in developing an understanding of some of the shore excursions available on our Island. The enclosed excursion descriptions are an example of actual programs that have been offered to cruise visitors in the previous sailing seasons. Additional golf, sailing, museum and art tours are also available; custom designed to meet the needs of a diverse clientele.

Lakeshore Excursions has been involved in the cruise business in Little Current since the first visit of MS Columbus in 1997. Along with overseeing all aspects of the actual shore component of the cruise passengers visit to our port, we pride ourselves in offering local added value service to the host charter company. Lakeshore Excursions is available to assist in media, operations and technical requirements, and function as a contact to both the local municipal and business community in our port.
